Webpage over Website:
Whats the Difference?
The difference is the number of HTML files/pages, a webpage is a single html file which is viewed as one page (all the content is then in sections within that page), a website comprises of several html files/pages and takes up more space for storage on the server.
Can I join without having a webpage?
If your joining as a local club or group, you MUST have a webpage (as the network, is for the community to see what is available in their local area), a local business can join the network by becoming a 'supporter', meaning they would not need to have a webpage.
Can I use my existing website?
All organisations webpage's hosted on the network need to meet with strict design guidelines as well as include the Llangadog.org Networks banner. Which would normally mean your old/existing website would not be suitable, however all the content could be quickly transferred from you existing website to a new Network friendly webpage
Can I design my own webpage?
You can! However every webpage would need to be approved by the network administrator before acceptance and would also need to meet with the networks design guidelines (available on request).
